FAQs

CBD is one of the most abundant compounds (cannabinoids) found in both the cannabis and hemp species of plants. CBD is the second most abundant compounds in hemp, typically representing up to 40% of its extracts.

Full-spectrum hemp oil refers to the unrefined oil extracted from hemp which contains all the cannabinoids found in the original plant. Not only does full spectrum contain all these cannabinoids but it also contains all the natural vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, protein, chlorophyll, fibre, flavonoids and terpens found in hemp.

Pure oil, often referred to as THC Free or Isolate refers to oil that only contains the CBD compound but in higher percentages.

This is really a matter of choice for individuals i.e. whether they want to try full spectrum with less CBD but many other compounds or want to try a higher concentration of isolated CBD.

Absolutely not! It is the compound THC that causes people to “get high” when taking cannabis.

We use pure CBD isolate and full spectrum oil from hemp plants that have a THC level below 0.2% (this is the legal limit in the UK).  All our ingredients are tested by the manufacturer before being sold to us.

As things stand in the UK today there is no regulation around CBD food supplements.  We would like to see this changed, along with more scientific research.  Studies so far show that the majority of people suffer no adverse effect from taking CBD supplements.  However in order to be completely transparent we feel it is important to highlight potential side effects from taking CBD.

“While the majority of CBD oil users don’t experience any negative effects, as with any treatment – natural or otherwise – there are possible side effects. These include nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, bloating and dizziness.

More seriously, a small percentage of users have had to discontinue with CBD oil due to suspected liver damage. As well as this, CBD oil could interact with common prescription medications, so it’s important you always seek the advice of your GP before giving it a go.”

We recommend that if you have any medical condition or you are pregnant then you should seek advice from your medical practitioner prior to taking CBD.

Also be advised that the coconut oil, obviously contains coconut and people with allergies should avoid this product.

We can’t stress this enough.  Like with any health supplement shop with a supplier you trust.

The main active ingredients in our oils are CBD isolate, Full spectrum hemp oil or a combination of the both.

A quick “google” will show that CBD isolate is available from about £20 per 1000mg.  So a 3000mg product should have approximately £60 of CBD isolate in it.  If it’s being sold for under £20 per bottle, then you have to wonder what’s actually in it.

As we buy in bulk quantities, we try to pass on these savings to our customers.  But we are never going to be able to sell at the crazy ebay prices!  All our ingredients are sourced from reputable companies.  The products have been tested to tested to guarantee both purity and to ensure compliance with UK law.
